Botox, Dysport and Xeomin
If you’re looking to smooth out frown lines, wrinkles and to have an overall more youthful look, look into Botox, Dysport and Xeomim.
What is the Difference Between Botox and Dysport?
Dysport and Botox differ mainly in their approved usage areas. Dysport is primarily used for correcting glabellar lines, the frown lines between the eyebrows, making it suitable for moderate to severe frown lines.
Botox can treat various wrinkles, including crow’s feet, forehead lines, and laugh lines, and is ideal for mild to moderate wrinkles. Some individuals notice quicker results with Dysport, often seeing a reduction in wrinkles in just 2-3 days, while Botox results typically take about a week to appear, with both reaching peak effectiveness at around 2 weeks.
Both Dysport and Botox last approximately 3-4 months.
What is the Difference Between Botox and Xeomin?
Botox and Xeomin are similarly dosed. 1 unit of Botox is equal to 1 unit of Xeomin. Both products can be used in the same treatment areas. Some people develop a tolerance to Botox, which makes Xeomin an appropriate substitute.
Botox has about three times the potency of Dysport per unit, necessitating more Dysport for similar effects. However, since Dysport units are less expensive than Botox units, the overall cost to achieve comparable results is similar.
Which is better? Botox, Dysport or Xeomin
